    Ms. Chiliachka is a performing classical pianist and dedicated music educator. Teaching piano has been her profession and passion for the past 21 years. She is especially interested in understanding how people learn when they learn music, teaching healthy piano technique and fostering motivation. Ms. Chiliachka is a lifelong learner and explorer of new ideas and discoveries. She loves igniting the musical spark in every one of her students and believes everyone is musical!

    Mr. Hunter is a multi-genre pianist, composer, and educator based in NYC. He co-founded The Piano Pod with Yukimi Song and Clara Zhang during the coronavirus pandemic. They together built the show's foundation: to examine the traditions of the piano, adapt them, and expand its capabilities in this modern era.

    Mr. Hunter co-hosted from the introductory episode of Season 1 to the 5th episode of Season 2. In addition, he is a composer of our introductory and closing music.

    Clara Zhang

    Ms. Zhang, is a classical pianist and piano teacher based in NYC. Born and raised in China, she was admitted into the Tianjin Music Conservatory at age 11, where she was later selected to go on a tour in the US when she turned 17. She moved to Kansas with a music scholarship and started her professional music career.

    In 2012, Ms. Zhang opened Rational Music Studios (RMS), a private piano studio based in the Upper East Side NYC. Her students have won prizes and performed in Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.
