Lisa Whealy, the passionate founder of the Sound of Humanity Music Project, Inc., is a Music Education Activist, Social Entrepreneur, and Change Agent. Since June 2022, she has led the organization, leveraging technology to advance music education equity for all youth. With over 11 years of experience as a freelance music and culture journalist and a master’s degree in communication management from USC, her expertise spans diverse topics, including artist management and new media. Currently pursuing a doctorate at USC’s Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work, she focuses on harnessing technology for social good, complemented by certifications in Adobe software and systems thinking.
