Till the premiere of this episode on Tuesday, April 11 2023, here is a sneak peek of Season 3 Episode 16 feat. Brian Field!
For this episode, I got to interview Mr. Brian Field – the creator/composer of “Passions for our Tortured Planet,” a musical movement to bring awareness to climate change impacting all Earth’s citizens. Mr. Field is a multi-award winner who has received a McKnight Foundation Fellowship, the Benenti Foundation recording prize; First Prize, Briar Cliff Choral Music Competition; and First Prize, Victor Herbert ASCAP Young Composers’ Contest, among dozens of others. Mr. Field’s compositions include music for television and stage, solo acoustic, chamber, ballet, choral, vocal, electroacoustic, and orchestral works and have been performed extensively throughout the United States and internationally.
🌎 Next Saturday, April 22, is Earth Day. So, to commemorate the day and appreciate our planet Earth, I thought I should focus on Climate Change for this EPS. During the interview, we discussed topics as follows:
- 🌿What “Passions for our Tortured Planet” is about
- 🌿How this project works
- 🌿How we can all contribute to this cause/movement
- 🌿How music can bring awareness of social and environmental issues effectively And more!
